Discovery Pointe Kids Are you up for the excitement and the challenges of helping children discover they matter to God? Discovery Pointe Kids provides age appropriate experiences for children from 6 weeks through fifth grade, and our primary goal is to help each child discover a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Guest Services, Greeting and Hospitality First impressions are very important to us at The Pointe. Our goal is to create “Wow” moments for each of our first-time guests within their first ten minutes at The Pointe. Come and be a part of this incredible team!
KidStuf Would you like to become a part of our KidStuf Production the first Sunday of each month? Volunteer opportunities include storytelling, drama, lights, music, and video to entertain and challenge families. Click here for more information about KidStuf.
Media and Technology Are you interested in helping mix sound at the board, learning the audio/visual switcher system, cameras, lights, and all the dynamics that make for a powerful worship service? We'd love for you to lend a hand! We are currently looking for volunteers to join our Media and Technology Team.
Security Would you like to join our Security team and help ensure our children are safe and secure while they are in our care? We are always looking for volunteers during and in between services to provide added protection. Click here for more information on our awesome security procedures.
Set Up & Tear Down If you are an early riser, set up is the place for you! The Pointe is a mobile church that sets up and tears down each week. Volunteers are greatly appreciated to aid in loading and unloading equipment - no experience necessary!! If you're not a morning person and can hang around after our second service and lend a hand, tear down is where you belong!
Small Group Leaders and Hosts Are you ready to make some new connections – and help other people do the same? Students The Pointe strives to let our students know how much they matter to God, no matter what, and we are always looking for adult and student volunteers to share our vision. Worship Band Did you ever see people on the "stage" singing and playing music and think, "I could do that!”? We would love to find a place for you to serve God using your God-given talents. Please send our Worship Leader, John Tomlinson, a short email listing your interest (i.e. vocalist, guitar, drums) and any experience you may have.
Weekday Opportunities Are you unable to help on Sundays, but would like to serve at home or at The Pointe Ministry Office during the week? We have the perfect opportunities for you!
First Time Guest Phone Calls If you enjoy getting to know new people and talking on the phone, we have a great opportunity for you! Every week we have first time guests at The Pointe, and we are always looking for people to call and welcome them. We will give you names, phone numbers and even a script!
Note card Writers Do you remember how special you felt when you received your first-time and second-time gift cards in the mail? Did it make you feel welcome at The Pointe? You too can be a part of making this lasting impression on others by writing cards during the week. We will provide the notecards, envelopes, stamps and even scripts if needed!
Prayer Team Do you have a heart for prayer? Every week we have requests for prayer. We will email you the specific prayer requests we receive, then you are able to pray and send out a note card at your convenience from the comfort of your home. We will provide the notecards, envelopes and stamps!
Worship Guide Preparation Do you have any free time on a Thursday afternoon around 4:30PM? Come and join us at The Pointe Ministry Office for a time of fellowship and fun as we prepare for the weekend services!
