Bryan Gerstel, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, has lived in Georgia since 1988. He now calls South Georgia home.  After graduating from Emory University's Candler School of Theology, Bryan plunged full force into his work with the United Methodist Church.  Bryan began his study of church models in 2001.  After researching various models, he found that Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Church model supports growth without compromising the message and mission of Jesus Christ.  Even the most committed Christians have questions about the relationship with God.  This model provides a Biblical strategy to answering those questions.

After serving as pastor in churches in Bibb County and Schley County, Bryan was chosen to lead a new church in south Lee County just north of Albany, Georgia.  Having experienced the energy and difference in churches that had used the Purpose Driven model in a variety of church settings, Bryan knew it was the type of engagement with God south Lee County and Albany, Georgia needed.  Bryan, his wife Linda and their children are dedicated to showing the community what a celebration and excitement a relationship with Jesus Christ can be.  Come join us at The Pointe today, and be a part of our church family!
