This Semester's Church-Wide Mission Project:
The Pointe will be collecting items to benefit Megan's House on Sunday, May 31 and Sunday, June 7. See the list below for possible items for donation. Megan’s House is a respite home for children in - Services are available for children who are developmentally disabled, who have Autism or are medically fragile. - Serves children ages 0 through 17 years old; serving 39 counties in
- Temporary services for as little as 24 hours or as long as two weeks.
Items Needed: Financial Contributions to provide scholarships for children Projects (carpet cleaning, replacement/removal of carpet in playroom area, screened/storm door on back porch) Towels,
Bottled Water Canned vegetables, soups and fruits (applesauce) Fruit juices Paper Products (towels, toilet tissue, Kleenex, plates, cups) Household Cleaning Products (especially Clorox, Pine Sol & Lysol spray) Laundry Detergent (Baby or Gentle) Garbage Bags Baby Care Items (wipes, powder, shampoo, lotion, Vaseline, safety q-tips) First Aid items (Band-Aids, Neosporin, Off, sunscreen, etc.) Children’s Books Movies (DVD or VHS) Kids Music CD’s Puzzles (easy) Crayons, washable markers, coloring books Bubbles Musical/Light up toys Foam letters, numbers, animals, etc. If you would like more information about missions, please contact Jay Barcus, Director of Missions or 435-5551.
